Abstract:
(EN) A network device for a wireless local area network, specifically a TSCH MAC and IEEE 802.15.4e wireless network. The network device can wirelessly communicate with a plurality of wireless network nodes over at least one frequency channel according to a schedule which allocates cells to links. A cell is a timeslot on a frequency channel; and a link represents communication between two network nodes or a network node and the network device. The network device has a radio and a processor. The radio is operable to receive traffic information, comprising the number of packets each of the network nodes is planning to transmit during a scheduling period and the processor is configured to define a schedule. The schedule has at least one cell allocated to a link as a redundancy cell for communicating a packet when communication of a packet by the link during an earlier allocated cell fails.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un dispositif de réseau pour un réseau local sans fil, plus particulièrement un contrôle MAC à saut TSCH et un réseau sans fil IEEE 802.15.4e. Le dispositif de réseau peut communiquer sans fil avec une pluralité de nœuds de réseau sans fil sur au moins un canal de fréquence en fonction d'un programme qui alloue des cellules à des liaisons. Une cellule est un créneau temporel sur un canal de fréquence ; et une liaison représente une communication entre deux nœuds de réseau ou un nœud de réseau et le dispositif de réseau. Le dispositif de réseau comprend une radio et un processeur. La radio est destinée à recevoir des informations de trafic, comprenant le nombre de paquets, chaque nœud de réseau étant destiné à transmettre pendant une période de programmation et le processeur étant configuré de sorte à définir un programme. Le programme comporte au moins une cellule attribuée à une liaison sous la forme d'une cellule de redondance pour communiquer un paquet lors de l'échec d'une communication d'un paquet par la liaison pendant l'attribution antérieure d'une cellule plus tôt.
