Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for parallel condensation and evaporation for a fuel cell system having a condensation-evaporation device, wherein the condensation-evaporation device (KW) has a condensation chamber and an evaporation chamber, which are thermally coupled to each other by means of a heat exchanger apparatus in such a way that water vapor contained in an exhaust gas of a fuel cell stack is condensed in the condensation chamber in order to form water and a liquid fuel of a two-phase mixture comprising the liquid fuel and a gas phase is at least partially evaporated in the evaporation chamber in order to form fuel vapor, wherein the energy required for the evaporation is provided at least partially by waste heat from an exhaust gas of a fuel cell stack of a fuel cell and the associated energy removal from the exhaust gas of a fuel cell stack is used for the condensation. The invention is characterized in that the gas phase comprises a carrier gas, which is CO2.
