Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to blends of at least one single-site catalyst polyethylene and at least one single-site catalyst syndiotactic polypropylene with a specific syndiotactic polypropylene content φPP in weight percent relative to the total weight of both the polyethylene and the syndiotactic polypropylene contained in the blend corresponding to: (I) with α being at most 1.40, MI2PE being the melt flow index of the polyethylene as measured according to ISO 1133 at 190 °C under a load of 2.16 kg and MFIPP being the melt flow index of the syndiotactic polypropylene as measured according to ISO 1133 at 230 °C under a load of 2.16 kg. The blends show improved impact properties at temperatures below 0 °C. The invention is also directed to a process for producing said blends, as well as to articles produced from these blends.
(FR) L'invention concerne des mélanges d'au moins un polyéthylène à catalyseur à site unique et au moins un polypropylène syndiotactique à catalyseur à site unique présentant une teneur en polypropylène syndiotactique spécifique φ PP en pourcentage en poids par rapport au poids total à la fois du polyéthylène et du polypropylène syndiotactique contenus dans le mélange correspondant à : (I) avec α représentant au plus 1,40, MI2PE étant l'indice de fluidité en volume à l'état fondu du polyéthylène tel que mesuré selon la norme ISO 1133 à 190 °C sous une charge de 2,16 kg et MFIPP étant l'indice de fluidité en volume à l'état fondu du polypropylène syndiotactique tel que mesuré selon la norme ISO 1133 à 230 °C sous une charge de 2,16 kg. Les mélanges présentent des propriétés de résilience améliorées à des températures inférieures à 0 °C. L'invention concerne également un procédé de production desdits mélanges, ainsi que des articles produits à partir de ces mélanges.
