Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for scraping material from the lower run of the conveyor belt (1) of a belt conveyor, comprising at least one scraper (2) for pressing against the bottom side of the lower run, at least one retainer (5) bearing the at least one scraper, and loading means for pressing the at least one scraper against the bottom side of the lower run. In order that such a device offers high cleaning performance over the longest possible time span and with gentle cleaning action, requires the least possible maintenance expenditure, and is economical to produce, the at least one retainer (5), according to the invention, has a lower, elongate supporting element (5.1) and an upper, elongate supporting element (5.2) supported thereon, wherein the supporting elements (5.1, 5.2) extend transversely to the direction of travel of the conveyor belt (1) in the installed state of the device, the upper supporting element (5.2) is flexible and is interlockingly connected to the lower supporting element (5.1) and/or can be moved in the longitudinal direction in relation to the lower supporting element (5.1) at the ends of the upper supporting element, and at least one control element (10) is arranged between the lower supporting element (5.1) and the upper supporting element (5.2), which at least one control element is supported on the lower supporting element (5.1) and acts on the upper supporting element in a central region of the upper supporting element (5.2) such that, by means of actuation of the control element (10), the upper supporting element (5.2) can be flexibly loaded upward from a downwardly bent position preferably into a straight position.
