Abstract:
(EN) A glare detection apparatus (1) for detection of at least one glare region within an image, said apparatus comprising a processing unit (3) configured to aggregate image pixels of said image having a high luminance intensity to bright image areas within said image and to calculate for image pixels around each bright image area gradients expected in case of a glare and actual gradients and configured to increase a glare diameter of a glare region around the respective bright image area as long as the calculated actual gradients match the calculated expected gradients.
(FR) L'invention concerne un appareil de détection d’éblouissement (1) servant à des fins de détection d'au moins une région d’éblouissement à l'intérieur d'une image, ledit appareil comprenant une unité de traitement (3) configurée pour agréger des pixels d'image de ladite image ayant une haute intensité de luminance sur des zones d'image brillantes à l'intérieur de l'image et pour calculer les pixels d'image autour de chaque zone d'image brillante prévue dans le cas de gradients d’éblouissement et de gradients réels et configurée pour augmenter un diamètre d’éblouissement d'une région d'éblouissement autour de la zone d'image brillante respective tant que les gradients réels calculés correspondent aux gradients prévus calculés.
