Abstract:
The invention relates to a shaft instrument, in particular a medical endoscopic shaft instrument, having a hollow shaft (2) and having at least one housing (8) which is integrated into the hollow shaft (2) at the distal end and has, situated therein, at least one electronic image sensor (14) for the optical detection of a region located at the distal end of the hollow shaft (2) and/or has, situated therein, illumination means for illuminating this region, wherein the housing (8) can be moved from a position in which the image sensor (14) and/or the illumination means are situated within the inner lumen (22) of the hollow shaft (2) in a straight line into a position in which the image sensor (14) and/or the illumination means are situated outside of the inner lumen (22) of the hollow shaft (2), wherein the housing (8) can be displaced through an opening (20) in the peripheral wall of the hollow shaft (2) and is supported, at its innerlying outer side (26) opposite the opening (20) formed in the peripheral wall of the hollow shaft (2), on at least one elongate carrier (32) which is guided in the hollow shaft (2), is elastically resilient transversely to its longitudinal extensions, extends substantially across the entire length of the hollow shaft (2) and is secured in the region of the proximal end of the hollow shaft (2) or at the proximal end of the hollow shaft (2).
