Abstract:
Disclosed is a washing machine, which can properly treat noise and abnormal sound produced by a transmission when the transmission is introduced in order to efficiently apply a motor. When a transmission (8) is introduced between an output shaft (72m) of a motor (72) and an input shaft (80m) of a counter-rotating part (80), the transmission (8) is provided with: a transformable driving side belt pulley unit (81), arranged at the output shaft (72m) side; a transformable driven side belt pulley unit (82), arranged at the input shaft (80m) side; a transmission belt (83), transmitting power between the two belt pulley units (81, 82); a rotational speed sensing part (81c), arranged on the driving side belt pulley unit (81), and changing belt pulley diameter as rotational speed increases; and a torque cam mechanism (82f), arranged between belt pulley hubs (82d, 82e) of a movable belt pulley (82a) and a fixed belt pulley (82b) composing the driven side belt pulley unit (82), and controlling speed change timing by means of a cam slot (82f1) and a pin (82f2) as belt pulley diameter changes inversely as rotational speed increases. The cam slot (82f1) of the torque cam mechanism (82f) adopts the following structure: the cam slot is provided with a first guiding slot (82f11) inclined toward a direction relative to a specific generatrix (C) on the belt pulley hub (82e) and a second guiding slot (82f12) inclined toward an opposite direction relative to the generatrix (C), and the pin (82f2) is guided into the first guiding slot (82f11) when the belt pulley unit (82) rotates clockwise and changes speed, and is guided into the second guiding slot (82f12) when the belt pulley unit rotates counter clockwise and changes speed.
