Title: DISPLAY DEVICE AND DRIVE METHOD
Abstract:
A display device and drive method. The display device comprises: a power reset circuit (01) and a source driver chip (02) configured to drive a display panel to perform a display function, wherein the power reset circuit (01) has an input end connected to a power signal output end, a control end connected to a reset signal end, and an output end connected to a power signal input end of the source driver chip (02). The power reset circuit (01) is configured to synchronously reset the power signal upon receiving of the reset signal and to input the reset power signal to the power signal input end of the source driver chip (02). By adding the power reset circuit (01) to a display device, synchronously resetting the power signal when an electrostatic anomaly occurs in the source driver chip (02), and inputting the reset power signal to the power signal input end of the source driver chip (02), the present invention ensures a reset re-activation of the source driver chip (02) in an electrostatic anomaly scenario and reduces reset failures of the source driver chip (02) in electrostatic anomalies, thereby enhancing electrostatic resistance of a liquid crystal display module.
