Abstract:
Provided are an ultrasound gray-scale imaging system and method. The system comprises: a probe (1); a transmission circuit (2) configured to excite the probe (1) to transmit a non-focused ultrasonic beam toward a fluid; a reception module (4) and a beamforming module (5) configured to receive an echo of the non-focused ultrasonic beam to obtain a non-focused ultrasonic echo signal; a signal-processing module (6) configured to perform detection and enhancement processing on multiple sets of non-focused ultrasonic echo signals to obtain fluid display data; an image-processing module (7) configured to perform data conversion on the fluid display data to obtain a B-mode ultrasonic image sequence; and a display device (8) configured to display the B-mode ultrasonic image sequence so as to present a visual effect of dynamic flow of the fluid. By transmitting a non-focused wave or a plane wave, the system can obtain multiple scan lines or even a whole image at one time, thereby significantly increasing a time resolution of an ultrasonic image, and solving a distortion problem associated with display of a high velocity blood stream by the conventional gray-scale blood stream imaging.
