Abstract:
(EN) A method for monitoring produce ripening in a produce environment is described. The method comprises receiving readings from at least one monitor module wherein the received readings are from a plurality of transmitters connected to the at least one monitor module and the plurality of transmitters comprise an ethylene transmitter, a carbon dioxide transmitter, a humidity transmitter, an oxygen transmitter, and an ambient temperature transmitter; providing the received readings to a controller; and displaying the received readings to thereby monitor the produce ripening. In one embodiment the method further comprises controlling produce ripening by receiving at the controller one or more target readings; and sending the one or more target readings to the at least one control module, the at least one control module connected to and controlling a heater, a cooler and a gas delivery module, the gas delivery module comprising an ethylene source and the at least one control module controlling the output of at least one of the heater, the cooler and the gas delivery module to reach the target reading in the produce environment to thereby control the produce ripening.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un procédé de surveillance du mûrissement de produits dans un environnement de production. Ledit procédé consiste à recevoir des mesures en provenance d'au moins un module de surveillance, lesdites mesures reçues provenant d'une pluralité de transmetteurs connectés audit module de surveillance et ladite pluralité de transmetteurs comprenant un transmetteur d'éthylène, un transmetteur de dioxyde de carbone, un transmetteur d'humidité, un transmetteur d'oxygène, et un transmetteur de température ambiante; à fournir lesdites mesures reçues à un dispositif de réglage; et à afficher les mesures reçues pour surveiller ainsi le mûrissement des produits. Dans un mode de réalisation, le procédé consiste en outre à régler le mûrissement des produits par réception au niveau du dispositif de réglage d'une ou de plusieurs mesures cibles; et envoi de la ou des mesures cibles audit module de réglage, ledit module de réglage étant connecté à un dispositif de chauffage, à un dispositif de refroidissement et à un module de distribution de gaz, et réglant ceux-ci, ledit module de distribution de gaz comprenant une source d'éthylène et ledit module de réglage réglant la sortie dudit dispositif de chauffage, dudit dispositif de refroidissement et/ou dudit module de distribution de gaz pour atteindre la valeur de mesure cible dans l'environnement de production, afin de régler ainsi le mûrissement des produits.
