Abstract:
(EN) The disclosure is directed to a mechanical over-vacuum safety system and method of use for a vacuum pump system designed to extract milk from lactating mothers. The over-vacuum safety system includes at least one mechanical safety valve configured to reduce a vacuum in the pump system given an over-vacuum condition. The mechanical safety valve(s) may be automatically actuated in response to specific vacuum ranges, such as an over-vacuum conditions ranging between negative 350 mmHG to negative 300 mmHG. The mechanical safety valve may allow fluid flow by folding.
(FR) L'invention concerne un système de sécurité mécanique de vide excessif et un procédé d'utilisation pour un système de pompe à vide conçu pour extraire du lait à partir des mères allaitantes. Le système de sécurité de vide excessif comprend au moins une soupape de sécurité mécanique conçue pour réduire un vide dans le système de pompe lors d'une situation de vide excessif. La ou les soupapes de sûreté mécanique peuvent être automatiquement actionnées en réponse à des plages spécifiques de vide, telles que des situations de vide excessif comprises entre moins 350 mmHG et moins 300 mmHG.
