Abstract:
(EN) A process for calculating feasibility of an electrical energy consumption management system (CMS) includes receiving a first historical energy consumption profile of an energy consumer for a first time period and a second historical energy consumption profile of the energy consumer for a second time period, wherein the second time period is after the first time period. The process may also include determining a setpoint for a CMS, wherein the CMS has hardware specifications, and wherein the setpoint is based on the first historical energy consumption profile and the hardware specifications. Next, an energy savings that would be produced by the CMS over the second time period is determined and a feasibility rating is assigned to the CMS based on the first energy savings and the first hardware specifications. A customer may thereby determine or optimize the effectiveness of a CMS at his site before it is purchased and installed.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de calculer la faisabilité d'un système de gestion de consommation (CMS) d'énergie électrique, ledit procédé consistant à recevoir un premier profil de consommation d'énergie historique d'un consommateur d'énergie pendant une première période de temps et un second profil de consommation d'énergie historique du consommateur d'énergie pendant une seconde période de temps, la seconde période de temps étant après la première période de temps. Le procédé peut également consister à déterminer un point de consigne pour un système CMS, le système CMS ayant des spécifications matérielles et le point de consigne étant basé sur le premier profil de consommation d'énergie historique et les spécifications matérielles. Ensuite, des économies d'énergie qui seraient produites par le système CMS sur la seconde période de temps, sont déterminées et un indice de faisabilité est attribué à la CMS sur la base des premières économies d'énergie et des premières spécifications matérielles. Un client peut, de ce fait, déterminer ou optimiser l'efficacité d'un système CMS au niveau de son site avant qu'il ne soit acheté et installé.
