Abstract:
(EN) Disclosed are techniques for performing undo operations on holographic objects in an immersive 3D visual environment. A display system allows the user to undo a given user operation performed on a particular selected holographic object without affecting any other holographic objects, based on a user's gaze and/or other user input. The technique can be implemented in conjunction with a scrollable visual "timeline" in which multiple past states of the display environment are displayed to the user and are selectable by the user as the target state of the revert operation. Also disclosed is a technique for partially undoing a single continuous user action in a holographic display system.
(FR) L'invention concerne des techniques permettant d'effectuer des opérations d'annulation de commande sur des objets holographiques dans un environnement visuel 3D immersif. Un système d'affichage permet à l'utilisateur d'annuler une opération d'utilisateur donnée effectuée sur un objet holographique sélectionné particulier sans avoir d'incidence sur un quelconque autre objet holographique, sur la base du regard d'un utilisateur et/ou d'une autre entrée d'utilisateur. Cette technique peut être mise en œuvre conjointement avec une « représentation chronologique » visuelle déroulante dans laquelle de multiples états passés de l'environnement d'affichage sont affichés pour l'utilisateur et sont sélectionnables par l'utilisateur en tant qu'état cible de l'opération de retour. L'invention concerne également une technique permettant d'annuler partiellement une action d'utilisateur unique continue dans un système d'affichage holographique.
