Abstract:
(EN) The present application relates to a liquid crystal cell and a use of a liquid crystal cell. The present application provides a liquid crystal cell which uses a nonionic compound as a liquid crystal additive for realizing EHDI characteristics, thereby being capable of switching between a transparent mode and a scattering mode and ensuring solubility of an additive with respect to a liquid crystal, to provide a liquid crystal cell having excellent performance such as in drive voltage characteristic, haze characteristic, reliability, etc. The liquid crystal cell can be applied to various optical modulation devices such as a smart window, a window protective film, a flexible display device, a transparent display shading plate, an active retarder for a 3D image display, or a viewing angle adjustment film.
(FR) La présente invention concerne une cellule à cristaux liquides et une utilisation d’une cellule à cristaux liquides. Elle concerne une cellule à cristaux liquides qui utilise un composé non ionique servant d’additif à cristaux liquides pour la réalisation de caractéristiques EHDI, ce qui la rend capable de basculer entre un mode transparent et un mode de diffusion et d’assurer la solubilité d’un additif par rapport à un cristal liquide, pour constituer une cellule à cristaux liquides ayant d’excellentes performances en termes de caractéristique de tension d’excitation, caractéristique de diffusion parasite, fiabilité, etc. La cellule à cristaux liquides peut être utilisée dans divers dispositifs de modulation optique tels qu’une fenêtre intelligente, un film de protection de fenêtre, un dispositif d’affichage flexible, une plaque d’ombrage d’affichage transparent, un retardateur actif pour un affichage d’images 3D ou un film de réglage d’angle de visualisation.
(KO) 본 출원은 액정셀 및 액정셀의 용도에 관한 것이다. 본 출원은 EHDI 특성을 구현하는 액정 첨가제로서 비이온성 화합물을 사용함으로써, 투명 모드와 산란 모드의 사이를 스위칭할 수 있고, 액정에 대한 첨가제의 용해도를 확보함으로써 구동 전압 특성, 헤이즈 특성, 신뢰성 등의 성능이 우수한 액정셀을 제공할 수 있다. 이러한 액정 셀은, 스마트 윈도우, 윈도우 보호막, 플렉서블 디스플레이 소자, 투명 디스플레이용 차광판, 3D 영상 표시용 액티브 리타더(active retarder) 또는 시야각 조절 필름 등과 같은 다양한 광변조 장치에 적용될 수 있다.
