Abstract:
(EN) An autonomous vehicle may provide bidirectional communication with mobile terminals of pedestrians. The autonomous vehicle may include a short range communication module for providing a communication interface, and a controller for, when a specific driving condition occurs, activating wireless communication through the short range communication module, periodically broadcasting a beacon signal including vehicle location and speed information, and calculating a danger level for each pedestrian based on pedestrian information included in a response signal corresponding to the beacon signal.
(FR) L'invention concerne un véhicule autonome pouvant assurer une communication bidirectionnelle avec des terminaux mobiles de piétons. Le véhicule autonome peut comprendre un module de communication courte portée fournissant une interface de communication, et un dispositif de commande qui, en présence d'une situation de conduite spécifique, active la communication sans fil par l'intermédiaire du module de communication courte portée, diffuse périodiquement un signal de balise contenant des informations sur l'emplacement et la vitesse du véhicule, et calcule un niveau de danger pour chaque piéton sur la base d'informations sur les piétons contenues dans un signal de réponse correspondant au signal de balise.
