Abstract:
Provided is a multichannel array coil to be used as a radio frequency (RF) coil in a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) device, wherein, even in a case where magnetic coupling arises between sub-coils, an impact from the current flowing to coupling partner sub-coils is suppressed, a desired sensitivity is maintained, and a drop in image quality is prevented. Thus, the sub-coils which form the multichannel array coil to be used as an RF coil in an MRI device are all connected to a signal processing circuit, such that even if magnetic coupling arises between such sub-coils, the phase difference between a rotational magnetic field which is generated due to the impact from the current flowing to the coupling partner sub-coils and a rotational magnetic field which is generated by the sub-coils is less than 90 degrees.
