Abstract:
(EN) The present invention facilitates decoding processing on the reception side when a predetermined number of pieces of high-quality format image data are transmitted together with base format image data. A base stream including, as access units, encoded image data of base format image data on a per-picture basis, and a predetermined number of enhanced streams each including, as access units, encoded image data of high-quality format image data on a per-picture basis are generated. Here, the enhanced streams are generated by performing predictive coding processing on the high-quality format image data with reference to the base format image data or other high-quality format image data. Information indicating the order of decoding is assigned to the access units of the enhanced streams. A predetermined format container including the base stream and the predetermined number of enhanced streams is transmitted.
(FR) La présente invention facilite un traitement de décodage du côté réception lorsqu'un nombre prédéfini de données d'image au format de haute qualité est transmis conjointement à des donnés d'image au format de base. Un flux de base comprenant, comme unités d'accès, des données d'image encodées de données d'image au format de base sur une base par image, et un nombre prédéfini de flux améliorés comprenant chacun, comme unités d'accès, des données d'image encodées de données d'image au format de haute qualité sur une base par image sont générés.
