Title: EJECTOR
Abstract:
An ejector is provided with a body (30) and a passage forming member (35). The body has formed therein: a pressure reducing space (30b); a suction passage (13b) through which a sucked-in refrigerant having been sucked in from a refrigerant suction opening (31b) is caused to flow; and a pressure increasing space (30e) into which the sucked-in refrigerant and an ejected refrigerant which has been ejected from the pressure reducing space is caused to flow. The body has: an introduction section for forming a refrigerant flow passage located upstream of the pressure reducing space in the direction of a refrigerant flow; and a nozzle section which forms the pressure reducing space. A refrigerant passage formed between the inner peripheral surface of the portion of the nozzle section, which forms the pressure reducing space, and the outer peripheral surface of the passage forming member is a nozzle passage (13a) for reducing the pressure of a refrigerant and ejecting the refrigerant. A refrigerant passage formed between the inner peripheral surface of the portion of the body, which formed the pressure increasing space, and the outer peripheral surface of the passage forming member is a diffuser passage (13c) for mixing the ejected refrigerant and the sucked-in refrigerant and increasing the pressure of the mixture. The coefficient of thermal conductivity of the introduction section is lower than that of the nozzle section.
