The objective of the present invention is to provide: a method for producing a modified polymer which is capable of reducing the heat generation of a tire; a modified polymer which is obtained by this production method; a rubber composition which contains this modified polymer; and a pneumatic tire which uses this rubber composition. A method for producing a modified polymer according to the present invention is a production method of a modified polymer which is obtained by modifying a conjugated diene polymer (A) with a nitrone compound (B) having a carboxy group. In this method for producing a modified polymer, the nitrone compound (B) is in the form of particles that have an average length in the long side direction of 50 μm or less.

La présente invention vise à fournir : un procédé de production d'un polymère modifié qui est apte à réduire la génération de chaleur d'un pneu ; un polymère modifié qui est obtenu par ce procédé de production ; une composition de caoutchouc qui contient ce polymère modifié ; et un pneumatique qui utilise cette composition de caoutchouc. Un procédé de production d'un polymère modifié selon la présente invention est un procédé de production d'un polymère modifié qui est obtenu par la modification d'un polymère de diène conjugué (A) avec un composé nitrone (B) ayant un groupe carboxy. Dans ce procédé de production d'un polymère modifié, le composé nitrone (B) est sous la forme de particules qui ont une longueur moyenne, dans la direction du côté long, de 50 µm ou moins.

本発明は、タイヤの発熱性の低減を図ることができる変性ポリマーの製造方法、ならびに、その製造方法により得られる変性ポリマー、その変性ポリマーを含有するゴム組成物、および、そのゴム組成物を使用した空気入りタイヤを提供することを課題とする。本発明の変性ポリマーの製造方法は、共役ジエン重合体(A)を、カルボキシ基を有するニトロン化合物(B)によって変性することで得られる変性ポリマーの製造方法であって、上記ニトロン化合物(B)が、長辺方向の平均長さが50μm以下の粒子状である、変性ポリマーの製造方法である。
