Abstract:
(EN) Provided is a method for producing a large amount of 2-hydroxy-1,4-naphthoquinone with a high yield and at a low cost. This method comprises oxidizing 2-hydroxynaphthalene with hydrogen peroxide water in the presence of a vanadium catalyst in (1) an alkaline aqueous solution or (2) a mixture of an alkaline aqueous solution and an inactive organic solvent which is incompatible with water.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé pour la production d'une grande quantité de 2-hydroxy-1,4-naphtoquinone à un rendement élevé et à faible coût. Ce procédé consiste à oxyder du 2-hydroxynaphtalène avec de l'eau contenant du peroxyde d'hydrogène en présence d'un catalyseur de vanadium dans (1) une solution aqueuse alcaline ou (2) un mélange d'une solution aqueuse alcaline et d'un solvant organique inactif qui est incompatible avec l'eau.
