Abstract:
Provided are a drive system and an inverter device, whereby sensorless control is stably performed. A drive system of an embodiment is provided with: an electric motor M; a main circuit unit 50 for outputting alternating currents for driving the electric motor M; detection units 80 for detecting output current values of the main circuit unit 50; a current command generation unit 10 for generating current command values equivalent to currents to be applied to the electric motor M; a gate command generation unit 40 for generating a gate command to the main circuit unit 50 such that the current command values match the currents; a calculation part 42 for calculating output voltage target vectors of the main circuit unit 50; and an estimation unit 70 for calculating, during the initial estimation at the time of activation of the main circuit unit 50, a rotation phase estimation value of the electric motor M on the basis of the current values and the output voltage target vectors. The current command values during the initial estimation cause a current to flow so as to magnetically saturate the rotor of the electric motor M, and a dynamic inductance of the electric motor M used for calculating the rotation phase estimation value represents a value when the rotor of the electric motor M is magnetically saturated.
