Abstract:
(EN) [Problem] To provide an optical element that can improve off-axis color shift when incorporated in a liquid crystal display device, a production method for the optical element, and a liquid crystal display device. [Solution] An optical element that is equipped with a reflective polarizer to which a cholesteric liquid crystal phase comprising a discotic liquid crystal compound is fixed. In the reflective polarizer, at ±50 nm outside the central reflection wavelength, the head-on retardation value Re is 0 nm ≤ Re < 10 nm, and the absolute value | Ret(50°) | of the retardation value Ret in the direction of a polar angle of 50° is | Ret(50°) | ≤ 50 nm.
(FR) Le problème décrit par la présente invention est de pourvoir à un élément optique qui peut améliorer un décalage de couleurs en dehors de l'axe lorsqu'il est incorporé dans un dispositif d'affichage à cristaux liquides, à un procédé de fabrication de l'élément optique, et à un dispositif d'affichage à cristaux liquides. La solution selon l'invention porte sur un élément optique qui est équipé d'un polariseur réfléchissant auquel une phase de cristaux liquides cholestériques comprenant un composé à cristaux liquides discotiques est fixée. Dans le polariseur réfléchissant, à ± 50 nm à l'extérieur de la longueur d'onde de réflexion centrale, la valeur de retard frontale Re est 0 nm ≤ Re < 10 nm, et la valeur absolue | Ret(50°) | de la valeur de retard Ret dans la direction d'un angle polaire de 50° est | Ret(50°) | ≤ 50 nm.
(JA) 【課題】液晶表示装置に組み込んだ場合に、斜め色味変化が改善できる光学素子、光学素子の製造方法および液晶表示装置を提供する。 【解決手段】円盤状液晶化合物からなるコレステリック液晶相が固定された反射偏光子を備え、反射偏光素子が、反射中心波長の外側±50nmにおいて、正面レターデーション値Reが0nm≦Re<10nmであり、かつ極角50°方向のレターデーション値Retの絶対値|Ret(50°)|が、|Ret(50°)|≦50nmである光学素子とする。
