Abstract:
The present invention reflects in the calculation of a deterioration degree a value corresponding to battery use in order to allow the deterioration degree of the battery to be estimated with high precision. This device comprises: an internal resistance detection unit (21) for detecting the internal resistance of the battery; a deterioration management unit (30) for managing at least one deterioration that is either a deterioration arising from charging and discharging of the battery (battery cycle deterioration) or a deterioration arising over time regardless of the charging and discharging of the battery (battery storage deterioration); and a deterioration degree estimation unit (40) for estimating, on the basis of the internal resistance increase rate, the deterioration degree of the battery to serve as the estimated deterioration degree. The deterioration degree estimation unit (40) causes the estimated deterioration degree to be smaller as the influence from the cycle deterioration becomes larger, if the deterioration management unit is managing the cycle deterioration, and causes the estimated deterioration degree to be larger as the influence from the storage deterioration becomes larger, if the deterioration management unit is managing the storage deterioration.
