Abstract:
(EN) Embodiments of the disclosure generally relate to evaporation sources used for physical vapor deposition of material onto substrates and more particularly for controlled coating of large substrates, such as vacuum deposition of selenium on flexible substrates. In one embodiment an evaporation source for depositing a source material on a substrate is provided. The evaporation source includes a crucible having a base and a first plurality of walls surrounding an interior region of the crucible. The crucible further includes a supporting ridge extending inwardly towards the interior region. The evaporation source further includes a lid disposed on the supporting ridge, the lid including two or more adjacently positioned sheets, where each sheet includes a plurality of openings formed therethrough, and the plurality of openings in each sheet are not aligned with the plurality of openings formed in an adjacently positioned sheet.
(FR) Les modes de réalisation de la présente invention concernent généralement des sources d'évaporation utilisées pour un dépôt en phase vapeur d'un matériau sur des substrats et en particulier pour un revêtement contrôlé de grands substrats, comme un dépôt sous vide de sélénium sur des substrats souples. Dans un mode de réalisation, l'invention concerne une source d'évaporation pour le dépôt d'un matériau source sur un substrat. La source d'évaporation comprend un creuset ayant une base et une première pluralité de parois entourant une région intérieure du creuset. Le creuset inclut en outre une crête de support s'étendant vers l'intérieur vers la région intérieure. La source d'évaporation comprend en outre un couvercle disposé sur la crête de support, le couvercle comprenant au moins deux feuilles positionnées de façon adjacente, chaque feuille comprenant une pluralité d'ouvertures formées à travers celle-ci, la pluralité d'ouvertures dans chaque feuille n'étant pas alignées avec la pluralité d'ouvertures formées dans une feuille positionnée de manière adjacente.
