Abstract:
(EN) A system for predicting or detecting the formation of hydrates in a pipeline, comprising a pipe pig for travelling in a bore of the pipeline, the pipe pig including sensing means for obtaining data indicative of one or more parameters of a medium in the bore. The system further includes processing means for receiving data from the sensing means and determining, in dependence on the data, a likelihood or presence of hydrate formation in the pipeline.
(FR) L'invention concerne un système pour prédire ou détecter la formation d'hydrates dans un pipeline, comprenant un racleur de tuyau destiné à se déplacer dans un alésage du pipeline, le racleur de tuyau comprenant un moyen de détection pour obtenir des données indicatives d'un ou plusieurs paramètres d'un milieu dans l'alésage. Le système comprend en outre un moyen de traitement pour recevoir des données provenant du moyen de détection et déterminer, en fonction des données, une probabilité ou la présence d'une formation d'hydrate dans le pipeline.
