Abstract:
(EN) The present invention relates to a silicone foam that is produced in situat a wound site, e.g. in a wound cavity, through a multi-component system, based on a physical foaming process, wherein the gas required to form the foam structure is provided through the blowing agent independently of the curing reaction of the polyorganosiloxane components of the multi-component system. Therefore, in accordance with the present invention, the blowing agent is provided as a distinct entity of the multi-component system that is, in particular, not the result of any chemical reaction taking place in the multi-component system. The present invention also relates to a device for producing the foam and the corresponding negative pressure wound therapy kit.
(FR) La présente invention concerne une mousse de silicone qui est produite in situ au niveau d'un site de plaie, par exemple dans une cavité de plaie, à l'aide d'un système à constituants multiples, sur la base d'un processus de moussage physique, le gaz nécessaire pour former la structure en mousse étant fourni à travers l'agent d'expansion indépendamment de la réaction de durcissement des constituants de polyorganosiloxane du système à constituants multiples. Par conséquent, selon la présente invention, l'agent d'expansion est fourni sous la forme d'une entité distincte du système à constituants multiples, qui, en particulier, n'est pas le résultat d'une réaction chimique quelconque se produisant dans le système à constituants multiples. La présente invention concerne également un dispositif pour produire la mousse et le kit de thérapie par pression négative correspondant.
