Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to a process and system for the continuous polymerization of one or more α-olefin monomers comprising the steps of: a) introducing catalyst and/or polymer from at least one loop reactor to at least one second reactor b) withdrawing fluids from the at least one second reactor c) cooling fluids comprising the withdrawn fluids with a cooling unit d) introducing the cooled fluids to a separator to separate at least part of the liquid from these fluids to form a liquid phase and a gas/liquid phase e) introducing the gas/liquid phase below to the reactor below a distribution plate f) introducing the liquid phase to a settling tank to separate liquid from fines that settle down in the settling tank g) introducing liquid from the settling tank upstream of the cooling unit, h) introducing the slurry comprising solid polymer particles from the settling tank to the at least one loop reactor.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé et un système pour la polymérisation en continu d'un ou de plusieurs monomère(s) α-oléfiniques, comprenant les étapes consistant à : a) introduire du catalyseur et/ou du polymère provenant d'au moins un réacteur en boucle dans au moins un second réacteur, b) soutirer des fluides dudit ou desdits second(s) réacteur(s), c) refroidir des fluides comprenant les fluides soutirés avec une unité de refroidissement, d) introduire les fluides refroidis dans un séparateur pour séparer au moins une partie du liquide desdits fluides pour former une phase liquide et une phase de gaz/liquide, e) introduire la phase de gaz/liquide au-dessous du réacteur au-dessous d'une plaque de distribution, f) introduire la phase liquide dans un bac de décantation pour séparer du liquide des fines qui se déposent dans le bac de décantation, g) introduire du liquide provenant du bac de décantation en amont de l'unité de refroidissement, h) introduire la suspension épaisse comprenant des particules de polymère solides provenant du bac de décantation dans ledit ou lesdits réacteur(s) en boucle.
