The present invention relates to an illumination device (1) having an optical-electronic light source (2) and an optical body (3) for distributing light, which optical body (3) is divided into an inner lens part (3a) and an outer reflector part (3b) which adjoins the latter towards the outside, which optical body parts (3a, b) are formed monolithically with one another, wherein the inner lens part (3a) is shaped as a Fresnel lens, that is to say a light passage face (4) of the inner lens part is divided into active edges (4a) and folding edges (4b), which Fresnel lens acts with the active edges (4a) as a collecting lens, with the result that a first part (21a) of the light which passes through the Fresnel lens via the active edges (4a) is refracted towards a main direction (5), wherein a second part (21b) of the light which passes through the Fresnel lens via the folding edges (4b) is refracted away from the main direction (5), and wherein a reflection face is provided on the outer reflector part (3b), onto which reflection face the second part (21b) of the light is incident and is reflected there and deflected with the reflection towards the main direction (5).
