Abstract:
The pump comprises at least one pump element (10) which in turn comprises a pump piston (12) which is driven to perform a reciprocating movement, is displaceably guided in a cylinder bore (18) of a housing part (20) of the pump, and delimits a pump working chamber (22) in said cylinder bore. The pump piston (12) projects from the cylinder bore (18) by its end opposed to the pump working chamber (22), wherein the end region of the pump piston (12) that projects from the cylinder bore (18) is surrounded by at least one first annular sealing element (52) which bears with radial prestress against the pump piston (12) by at least one sealing lip (54, 56) arranged on the inner circumference of said sealing element. The first sealing element (52) is arranged in a receptacle (72) of the housing part (20), which receptacle surrounds the end region of the pump piston (12) that projects from the cylinder bore (18), and comprises at least one spring element (56, 57) for producing the radial prestress of the at least one sealing lip (53, 54). As seen in the direction of the longitudinal axis (13) of the pump piston (12), a second annular sealing element (62) is arranged in the receptacle on the side of the at least one first sealing element (52) that is opposed to the end of the cylinder bore (18), which second sealing element comprises at least one sealing lip (64) which bears against the pump piston (12) under radial prestress, and which second sealing element comprises at least one spring element (66) for producing the radial prestress of its at least one sealing lip (64).
