For the purpose of removing a used grinding lamella portion (22), the base (16) has at least one target weakening region (21) on a side that faces away from the grinding means (18). As a result of the removal of used grinding lamellae portions (22), the grinding tool (1) has an improved grinding behavior. The grinding properties remain intact until the grinding tool (1) has worn out completely. By removing the used grinding lamellae portions (22), fine dust particles are avoided.
