The present invention relates to an e-reader for sheet music. The invented device uses the low-power consumption and non-reflective Electronic Paper Display (EPD) screen technology combined with a touchscreen and light layer. It is designed for displaying and annotating digital sheet music. The e-reader for sheet music is specifically designed for professional musicians who need sheet music in a large format (screens with a diagonal of at least 13.3 inches) and the annotation function. The e-reader for sheet music consists of two screen modules. Both modules use an EPD screen, a touchscreen and light layer. The modules are interconnected by means of a hinge system, which makes the device bi-foldable and openable to a single plane, or by 180 degrees. The hinge system allows each module to be detached in order to use them separately as one screen of the e-reader for sheet music.
