Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for simulating a force on an actuation element of a vehicle, preferably a pedal force simulator, comprising a housing (2) inside which a piston (3) is mounted so as to be axially movable; the piston (3) is connected to the actuation element (6) by means of a piston rod (4), and the piston (3) engages a spring element (9) which is arranged in particular axially inside the housing (2) or intermittently outside the housing. In order to dispense with the need to additionally lubricate the device, an inner contour of the forked spring element (9) has a variable cross-section, and two rolling members (7, 8) that are supported during the movement are fastened to the piston (3) in such a way as to roll along the inner contour of the forked spring element (9).
