Abstract:
(EN) The present disclosure relates to a system and method for decoding a data sequence. The system and method include retrieving a sequence of L bits and determining a maximum likelihood path thereof. Further, a trimming SOVA with a trimming factor M is used to select a maximum number of L/M metric differences to be calculated, and reliability values relating to the sequence are calculated based on the selected metric differences.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un système et un procédé de décodage d'une séquence de données. Le système et le procédé consistent à récupérer une séquence de L bits et à déterminer son chemin de vraisemblance maximale. En outre, un algorithme SOVA à élagage ayant un facteur d'élagage M est utilisé pour sélectionner un nombre maximal L/M de différences de métrique devant être calculées, et des valeurs de fiabilité relatives à la séquence sont calculées sur la base des différences de métrique sélectionnées.
