Title: COFLOW SCHEDULING METHOD FOR DISTRIBUTED COMPUTER PLATFORM
Abstract:
Disclosed is a coflow scheduling method for a distributed computer platform. The present invention collects real-time bandwidth information in a cluster by means of heartbeat detection, decides the priority and transmission rate of a coflow by means of centralized scheduling, and resolves the problems of complicated control over distributed scheduling, modification of a switch, and the like. Moreover, the transmission rate of a low-priority coflow is controlled by means of a distributed dynamic speed limiting algorithm, thereby avoiding delay caused by centralized scheduling. By means of the two hybrid scheduling policies, the coflow can be more accurately scheduled finally, thus shortening the average completion time of a coflow in a distributed computer platform, and improving the performance of the distributed computer platform.
