Abstract:
Disclosed are a motion vector field coding method and decoding method, and coding and decoding apparatuses. The method in embodiments of the present invention comprises: acquiring an original signal of a current motion vector field block, the current motion vector field block being obtained after partitioning a current motion vector field, and the current motion vector field being a motion vector field corresponding to a video frame at a time t; acquiring a predictive signal of the current motion vector field block and predictive information of the current motion vector field block, the predicative information being used for indicating information needed for acquiring the predictive signal; calculating a predictive residual signal of the current motion vector field block according to the predictive signal and the original signal, the predictive residual signal being used for indicating a residual between the original signal and the predictive signal; and writing the predictive information and the predictive residual signal into a code stream. The embodiments of the present invention can improve the compression efficiency of a motion vector field.
