Title: METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DETECTING HEART RATE BY MEANS OF PHOTOELECTRIC REFLECTION
Abstract:
A method for detecting a heart rate by means of photoelectric reflection and a heart rate detection apparatus. The method for detecting a heart rate by means of photoelectric reflection comprises the following steps: when a heart rate detection instruction is received, adjusting the brightness of an LED light source according to a pre-set mode and detecting a frequency waveform corresponding to each brightness (S10); when it is detected that the frequency waveform is an optimum waveform, using the corresponding brightness as optimum brightness (S20); and controlling the LED light source to transmit an optical signal according to the optimum brightness and detecting a heart rate (S30). An optical signal is transmitted, according to the optimum brightness, to detect a heart rate, such that, when the heart rate is detected by means of photoelectric reflection, the transmitted optical signal can adapt to a physical condition of a person to be detected, and a detected frequency waveform is obvious in wave amplitude and smooth in shape, improving the accuracy of heart rate detection.
