Abstract:
(EN) [Problem] To provide a piston ring having a hard carbon film that is easy to form and that has excellent wear resistance. [Solution] This problem is solved by having a hard carbon film 4 formed on at least the outer peripheral sliding surface 11 of a piston ring 1, wherein said hard carbon film 4 is a laminate film comprising multiple layers, and is configured so as to contain boron at an atomic density of 0.2×1022-2.0×1022 atoms/cm3. The hard carbon film 4 has an sp2 component ratio of 40-80%, measured in a TEM-EELS spectrum formed by combining electron energy loss spectroscopy (EELS) with a transmission electron microscope (TEM), and the hydrogen content can be configured to be 0.1-5 atom%. Further, the total thickness of the hard carbon film 4 can be configured to be 0.5-20μm.
(FR) Le problème à résoudre dans le cadre de la présente invention est de proposer un segment de piston qui comporte un film de carbone dur qui soit facile à former et qui présente une excellente résistance à l'usure. La solution proposée consiste en un film de carbone dur (4) formé sur au moins la surface de coulissement périphérique extérieure (11) d'un segment de piston 1, ledit film de carbone dur (4) étant un film stratifié qui comprend des couches multiples, et étant conçu pour contenir du bore à une densité atomique de 0,2×1022-2,0×1022atomes/cm3. Le film de carbone dur (4) présente un rapport de composant sp2 de 40 à 80 %, mesuré dans un spectre TEM-EELS formé en combinant une spectroscopie de perte d'énergie des électrons (EELS) avec un microscope électronique à transmission (TEM), et la teneur en hydrogène peut être conçue pour être 0,1 à 5 % atomique. En outre, l'épaisseur totale du film de carbone dur (4) peut être conçue pour être de 0,5 à 20 µm.
(JA) 【課題】成膜が容易で、耐摩耗性に優れた硬質炭素膜を有するピストンリングを提供する。 【解決手段】ピストンリング基材1の少なくとも外周摺動面11上に形成された硬質炭素膜4を有し、その硬質炭素膜4は、複数の層からなる積層膜であり、ホウ素が0.2×1022原子数/cm3以上、2.0×1022原子数/cm3以下の原子密度の範囲内で含まれているように構成して上記課題を解決する。この硬質炭素膜4は、透過型電子顕微鏡(TEM)に電子エネルギー損失分光法(EELS)を組み合わせたTEM-EELSスペクトルで測定されたsp成分比が40%以上80%以下の範囲内であり、水素含有量が0.1原子%以上5原子%以下の範囲内であるように構成できる。また、この硬質炭素膜4の合計厚さが、0.5μm以上、20μm以下の範囲内であるように構成できる。
