Abstract:
The invention relates to an induction charging device (12) and a corresponding method for inductively transmitting energy to an induction battery device (14), comprising at least one primary oscillating circuit (42) which has at least one charging coil (16) and comprising a control or regulating unit (48) for actuating the primary oscillating circuit (42) by means of an inverter circuit (32, 34). An excitation frequency (fa) of an inverter circuit (32, 34) output signal (54), which consist of half-waves (56a, 56b, 58a, 58b), substantially corresponds to a resonant frequency (fR) of the primary oscillating circuit (32, 34). The induction charging device according to the invention is characterized in that in order to reduce a charging current (I), the control or regulating unit (48) actuates the inverter circuit (32, 34) after an end-of-charge voltage (ULT) of the induction battery device (14) is reached such that the output signal (54) is periodically set to a high value (high) for at least one first half-wave (56a, 56b) and then immediately to a value (low) which is low compared to the high value (high) for an odd plurality of successive half-waves (58b).
