Abstract:
(EN) Device and methods for detecting/quantifying a fluorescent taggant in a liquid sample. Generally, the liquid samples are fuels having low concentrations (measured in ppb) of a fluorescent taggant. The detection/quantification generates a predicted concentration of the fluorescent tagging compound using a process selected from the group of a multivariate process, a background subtraction process, or a combination of both. The invention addresses the detection of an adulteration of gasoline and diesel fuels.
(FR) L'invention concerne un dispositif et des procédés de détection/quantification d'un traceur fluorescent dans un échantillon liquide. Généralement, les échantillons liquides sont des carburants présentant de faibles concentrations (mesurées en parties par milliard) d'un traceur fluorescent. La détection/quantification produit une concentration prédite du composé traceur fluorescent à l'aide d'un processus choisi parmi le groupe d'un processus à variables multiples, un processus de soustraction d'arrière-plan, ou une combinaison de l'un et l'autre. L'invention aborde la détection d'un frelatage de carburants essence et diesel.
