Abstract:
(EN) A wastewater to chemical fuel conversion device is provided that includes a housing having a first chamber and a second chamber, where the first chamber includes a bio-photoanode, where the second chamber includes a photocathode, where a backside of the bio-photoanode abuts a first side of a planatized fluorine doped tin oxide (FTO) glass, where a backside of the photocathode abuts a second side of the FTO glass, where a proton exchange membrane separates the first chamber from the second chamber, where the first chamber includes a wastewater input and a reclaimed water output, where the second chamber includes a solar light input and a H2 gas output, where the solar light input is disposed for solar light illumination of the first chamber and the second chamber.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un dispositif de conversion d'eaux usées en combustible chimique, qui comprend un logement comportant une première chambre et une seconde chambre. La première chambre comprend un biophotoanode, la seconde chambre comprend une photocathode, un côté arrière de la biophotoanode venant en butée contre un premier côté d'un verre en oxyde d'étain dopé au fluor (FTO) planarisé, un côté arrière de la photocathode venant en butée contre un second côté du verre FTO, une membrane d'échange de protons sépare la première chambre de la seconde chambre, la première chambre comprend une entrée d'eaux usées et une sortie d'eaux usées valorisées, la seconde chambre comprend une entrée de lumière solaire et une sortie de gaz H2, l'entrée de lumière solaire étant disposée de sorte à éclairer la première chambre et la seconde chambre avec de la lumière solaire.
