Abstract:
(EN) Provided is an optical filter which comprises a base having a layer that contains near-infrared absorbing fine particles and a dielectric multilayer film provided on at least one surface of the base, and which satisfies both of the following conditions: (a) the average transmittance is 45% or more but less than 85% within the wavelength range of 400-650 nm with respect to all of the light incident on the optical filter in the vertical direction, the light incident on the optical filter in a direction inclined at an angle of 30° to the vertical direction, and the light incident on the optical filter in a direction inclined at an angle of 60° to the vertical direction; and (b) the average optical density (OD value) is 1.7 or more within the wavelength range of 800-1,200 nm with respect to all of the light incident on the optical filter in the vertical direction, the light incident on the optical filter in a direction inclined at an angle of 30° to the vertical direction, and the light incident on the optical filter in a direction inclined at an angle of 60° to the vertical direction.
