Abstract:
(EN) Provided are: a light source device capable of more efficiently separating original excitation light and the illumination light created therefrom while simplifying the structure of an optical system to thus improve light use efficiency; and a projection device incorporating the light source device. The light source device comprises: a laser array 51 that is an excitation light source for emitting excitation light EL; an irradiated body 41 for emitting illumination light L2 containing fluorescent light FL upon receiving the excitation light EL; an illumination optical system for introducing the illumination light L2 emitted from the irradiated body 41; and a polarization splitter 32 disposed on the optical path between the excitation light source and the irradiated body and having a polarization separation surface 32a for separating the illumination light L2 from the optical path of the excitation light EL by transmission or reflection. The polarization splitter 32 is arranged so that the angle between the normal line to the polarization separation surface 32a and an optical axis SX of the illumination optical system is 50° or more and 80° or less.
(FR) La présente invention concerne : un dispositif source de lumière susceptible de séparer plus efficacement la lumière d'excitation d'origine et la lumière d'éclairage créée à partir de celle-ci, tout en simplifiant la structure d'un système optique afin d'améliorer l'efficacité d'utilisation de la lumière ; et un dispositif de projection incorporant le dispositif source de lumière. Le dispositif source de lumière comprend : un réseau laser (51) qui est une source de lumière d'excitation destinée à émettre une lumière d'excitation EL ; un corps irradié (41) destiné à émettre une lumière d'éclairage L2 contenant de la lumière fluorescente FL lors de la réception de la lumière d'excitation EL ; un système optique d'éclairage destiné à introduire de la lumière d'éclairage L2 émise à partir du corps irradié (41) ; et un diviseur de polarisation (32) disposé sur le chemin optique entre la source de lumière d'excitation et le corps irradié et doté d'une surface de séparation de polarisation (32a) destinée à séparer la lumière d'éclairage L2 du trajet optique de la lumière d'excitation EL par transmission ou par réflexion. Le diviseur de polarisation (32) est agencé de telle sorte que l'angle entre la ligne normale de la surface de séparation de polarisation (32a) et un axe optique SX du système optique d'éclairage soit supérieur ou égal à 50° et inférieur ou égal à 80°.
(JA) 光学系の構成を簡素化できると共に、元の励起光とこれから得た照明光とをより効率的に分離でき、光の利用効率を高めた光源装置、及びかかる光源装置を組み込んだ投影装置を提供する。励起光ELを射出する励起光源であるレーザーアレイ51と、励起光ELの照射を受けて蛍光光FLを含む照明光L2を射出する被照射体41と、被照射体41から射出された照明光L2を導く照明光学系と、励起光源と被照射体との光路間に配置され、照明光L2を透過及び反射の別によって励起光ELの光路から分離する偏光分離面32aを有する偏光分離素子32とを備え、偏光分離素子32は、偏光分離面32aの法線と照明光学系の光軸SXとのなす角が50°以上80°以下となるよう配置されている。
