Abstract:
(EN) Provided is an ESD protection element with which it is possible to lower the discharge initiating voltage and improve resistance to the deterioration of insulating properties. This ESD protection device contains: an insulating ceramic element body that has a hollow space; an auxiliary electrode that has a first main surface and a second main surface, and is embedded in the insulating ceramic element body such that the end between the first main surface and the second main surface is exposed to the hollow space; and a first discharge electrode and a second discharge electrode that are embedded in the insulating ceramic element body such that the main surfaces are opposed, with the auxiliary electrode interposed therebetween. The auxiliary electrode contains at least one first auxiliary electrode layer, and at least one second auxiliary electrode layer. The first auxiliary electrode layer contains a higher proportion of conductive material than the second auxiliary electrode layer, and is bonded to the first discharge electrode and/or the second discharge electrode.
(FR) L’invention fournit un élément protecteur contre les décharges électrostatiques qui permet d’abaisser davantage une tension de commencement de décharge, et d’améliorer une résistance à la détérioration des propriétés d'isolation. Selon l’invention, un dispositif protecteur contre les décharges électrostatiques contient : un corps en céramique isolant possédant une partie cavité ; une électrode auxiliaire possédant une première ainsi qu’une seconde face principale, et noyée dans ledit corps en céramique isolant de sorte qu’une partie extrémité entre ladite première face principale et ladite seconde face principale est exposée à ladite partie cavité ; et une première ainsi qu’une seconde électrode de décharge qui enserrent ladite électrode auxiliaire, et qui sont noyées dans ledit corps en céramique isolant de sorte que les faces principales s’opposent. Ladite électrode auxiliaire contient au moins une première couche d’électrode auxiliaire, et au moins une seconde couche d’électrode auxiliaire. Ladite première couche d’électrode auxiliaire présente une teneur en matériau conducteur supérieure à celle de ladite seconde couche d’électrode auxiliaire, et est liée au moins auxdites première et seconde électrodes de décharge.
