Abstract:
(EN) The present invention reduces the number of production steps of an active matrix substrate. This active matrix substrate comprising an insulating substrate 100 which is provided with a light-transmitting region that transmits light and a light-blocking region that blocks light is provided with: a colored light-blocking film 201 that is formed in the light-blocking region of the insulating substrate 100 and contains carbon particles in a transparent matrix; an inorganic film 202 that is formed on the light-blocking film 201; a light-transmitting film 204 that is formed in the light-transmitting region of the insulating substrate 100 and contains transparent carbon oxide particles in a transparent matrix; a gate line 111 that is arranged on the inorganic film 202; a gate insulating film 101 that is arranged on the gate line 111; thin film transistors 300 that are arranged in a matrix on the gate insulating film 101; and a data line that is arranged on the light-blocking film 201 so as to intersect with the gate line 111 and is electrically connected to the thin film transistors 300.
