Abstract

An apparatus (100) relates generally to preconditioning an input signal (101 ). In this apparatus, a first digital predistortion module (110) and a second digital predistortion module (120) are for receiving the input signal (101 ) for respectively providing a first predistorted signal (111) and a second predistorted signal (121). A combiner (130) is for combining the first predistorted signal (111) and the second predistorted signal (121) for providing an output signal (102). The first digital predistortion module (110) includes a moving mean block (112) for receiving the input signal (101) for providing a moving mean signal (114). The first digital predistortion module (110) further includes a digital predistorter (113) for receiving the input signal (101) and the moving mean signal (114) for providing the first predistorted signal (111).
