Abstract:
(EN) Provided are cooling subsystems for energy-storage systems comprising: a coolant section having a coolant circulated therein; a non-coolant section having a fluid other than the coolant disposed therein; a plurality of battery cells having a coated portion and a non-coated portion, the coated portion being disposed in the coolant section, and the non-coated portion being disposed in the non-coolant section. Some embodiments may also comprise a retainer disposed between the coolant section and the non-coolant section, the retainer holding the plurality of battery cells, the retainer forming a seal around the plurality of battery cells, the seal preventing the flow of coolant from the coolant section to the non-coolant section.
(FR) L'invention concerne des sous-systèmes de refroidissement, pour des systèmes de stockage d'énergie, qui comportent : une section de refroidissement à l'intérieur de laquelle un liquide de refroidissement est mis en circulation ; une section de non refroidissement à l'intérieur de laquelle est disposé un liquide autre que le liquide de refroidissement ; une pluralité d'éléments de batterie ayant une partie revêtue et une partie non revêtue, la partie revêtue étant disposée dans la section de refroidissement et la partie non revêtue étant disposée dans la section de non refroidissement. Certains modes de réalisation peuvent également comporter un dispositif de retenue disposé entre la section de refroidissement et la section de non refroidissement, le dispositif de retenue retenant la pluralité d'éléments de batterie, l'élément de retenue formant un joint d'étanchéité autour de la pluralité d'éléments de batterie, le joint d'étanchéité empêchant l'écoulement du liquide de refroidissement de la section de refroidissement vers la section de non refroidissement.
