In the present invention, provided are the following: a display unit which includes a first and second area (ARa, Arb); a first driving substrate (Fa) which is associated with the first area; a second driving substrate (Fb) which is associated with the second area; a first driving substrate voltage generating circuit (Pa) which supplies drive voltage to a first voltage input terminal (xa1) provided to the first driving substrate; a second driving substrate voltage generating circuit (Pb) which supplies driving voltage to a second voltage input terminal (xb1) provided to the second driving substrate; and one or a plurality of switches (a1, B1) which electrically separate or connect the first and second voltage input terminals (xa1, xb1). Due to this configuration, luminance differences (luminance break) between areas can be suppressed.
