The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing an organic light-emitting diode including: a step of forming a stack of layers on a substrate (50); a step of forming a protective layer (400), said step being configured such that the protective layer (400) at least partially covers the projecting portion (150, 250); a step of forming, through the protective layer (400), an access (501, 502) to the projecting portion (150, 250) of at least one of the first electrode (100) or the second electrode (200), a step of forming a metal layer (701, 702) which at least partially fills the access (501, 502) to the projecting portion (150, 250) such that the metal layer (701, 702) is electrically continuous with the projecting portion (150, 250) of at least one of the first electrode (100) or the second electrode (200).

La présente invention concerne un procédé de réalisation d'une diode électroluminescente organique comprenant : une étape de formation d'un empilement de couches sur un substrat (50), une étape de formation d'une couche de protection (400), ladite étape étant configurée de sorte à ce que la couche de protection (400) recouvre au moins en partie la partie débordante (150, 250), une étape de formation, au travers de la couche de protection (400), d'un accès (501, 502) à la partie débordante (150, 250) de l'au moins une parmi la première électrode (100) et la deuxième électrode (200), une étape de formation d'une couche métallique (701, 702) remplissant au moins en partie l'accès (501, 502) à la partie débordante (150, 250) de sorte à ce que la couche métallique (701, 702) soit en continuité électrique avec la partie débordante (150, 250) de l'au moins une parmi la première électrode (100) et la deuxième électrode (200).
