The invention relates to a method for obtaining an initial communication route between a node device and a data-concentrating device of a network using powerline communication based on a communication protocol including a method for searching for an initial communication route, said method including the following steps: obtaining (30) information representing an overload risk of said network; and applying (32) said method for searching for an initial communication route to determine the initial communication route when the information representing the overload risk of said network indicates that said network is not at risk of being overloaded.

Procédé d'obtention d'une route de communication initiale entre un dispositif nœud et un dispositif concentrateur de données d'un réseau utilisant des communications par courants porteurs en ligne basées sur un protocole de communication comprenant une méthode de recherche d'une route de communication initiale, ledit procédé comprenant les étapes suivantes : obtenir (30) une information représentative d'un risque de surcharge dudit réseau; appliquer (32) ladite méthode de recherche d'une route de communication initiale pour déterminer la route de communication initiale lorsque l'information représentative du risque de surcharge dudit réseau indique que ledit réseau ne risque pas d'être surchargé.
