Abstract

Various embodiments of a smoke chamber for a smoke detector and associated methods are presented. Such a smoke chamber may include a housing, having a first portion and a second portion. The first portion may be through which an electromagnetic sensor and two or more electromagnetic emitters interact with an airspace within the housing. The second portion may have an airflow surface that at least partially defines a curved airflow path between the airspace within the housing and an external environment. The curved airflow path may curve radially outward.

Selon divers modes de réalisation, la présente invention concerne une chambre à fumée destinée à un détecteur de fumée et des procédés associés. Une telle chambre à fumée peut comprendre un logement comportant une première partie et une seconde partie. La première partie peut être conçue de sorte qu'un capteur électromagnétique et deux émetteurs électromagnétiques ou plus interagissent, à travers celle-ci, avec un espace d'air à l'intérieur du logement. La seconde partie peut comporter une surface de circulation d'air délimitant au moins en partie un trajet de circulation d'air incurvé entre l'espace d'air à l'intérieur du logement et un environnement extérieur.
